The series tells about the life of a simple modern family that tries to become no worse than other American residents. The focus is on Paul and Allie. The main characters of the series have long loved each other and are married. So they bring up children and in their family there is mutual understanding and respect. However, everything can not be smooth and calm. In fact, the modern world requires sacrifices. Everything has to be sacrificed.
