P-Valley (season 2)

It's hard for small-town residents to find work. The heroines are lucky enough to perform at the P-Valley strip club, the only local entertainment venue. The girls are surrounded by an enthusiastic crowd, sparing no expense for pleasure. The dancers are bathed in sequins and the bright light of the spotlights. Outside the club, the festivities end and ordinary life begins, full of troubles and worries. Otan Knight suffers from claustrophobia. Under a false identity, she hides from her enemies. Her stripper friend raises two children and puts up with a tyrant husband. Mercedes' mother considers the dancer's profession immoral; this does not prevent her from spending her daughter's money. The club may close. The heroines are afraid of losing their earnings.rn
