Overview

High school student Courtney Whitmore is going through the difficulties of growing up, going through a move to a new house and reluctantly makes contact with her stepfather Pat Dugan, her mother's new husband. But one day, she finds superhero clothes and weapons in one of the drawers in the basement, and then learns that her stepfather was a friend of the recently deceased Starman. The girl discovers that she can control magical gadgets and becomes the successor of the hero, Stargirl. Now she will not only fight evil, but also become a part of the Justice Society of America and the inspiration for a new generation of superheroes.
