A young woman wakes up in the woods with scratches and bruises on her body. Some time after these mysterious events, she discovers that she is expecting a baby. However, there is clearly something wrong with pregnancy. The fetus grows too fast, the expectant mother loses weight, loses her hair, and suspects that she is at the center of a terrible conspiracy.
