Work in Progress (season 2)

Abby is a 45-year-old eccentric character with an overweight and indeterminate gender who is going through a difficult stage of self-identification. After Abby's therapist dies right during the session, she has to move on in solving her problems herself. And this is not easy. In women's public toilets, she feels just as awkward as in men's, it is difficult for her to understand which gender to relate to, and suicide begins to seem the easiest and most obvious way out. But the support of her sister and an unexpected romantic relationship with a young transgender waiter change her outlook on life.
